(More customer reviews)My 2 year old is OBSESSED with Yo Gabba Gabba...or as we call it, just Gabba. Because it is not a newer show, it is sooooo hard to find anything Gabba related in the stores now days. My son sleeps with 2 stuffed characters from the show and I have been looking for the perfect blanket for him, but almost all of the fleece Gabba blankets I looked at had horrible reviews for either their poor fleece quality or the small size. I saw this comforter on Amazon and thought it was a bit pricey for just being the comforter and not a whole bedding set...but figured we'd give it a try. My son is still in a crib, but I ordered the full size for him to grow into and to wrap up in (he likes to roll up into a blanket in bed...because of this, toddler size blankets are never big enough). Anywho, when the blanket first came in I was a bit disappointed because it felt "scratchy" with the thinner/cheaper fabric...but my son immediately fell in love with it!! Since it arrived a few weeks ago, it has been washed many times and is only getting softer and softer!! I was very happy with this and now feel the high price tag wasn't so bad. It has a good amount of filler and is stitched in all the right places to keep the filler/batting in the right place and not move around when cuddled or ran through the washer/dryer. I have a front loading machine, but feel a top loader with an agitator wouldn't harm this...it seems well made and will last for quite a few years of heavy use. The top side is the picture you see above with all the characters (very bright colors too!) and the reverse is the lighter blue shade you see on the perimeter with little white shapes. I'd say this is more boy'ish looking...but could work in a girls room too.
