I ordered a King-sized set for the Queen bed in that room, as it's a larger pillow top mattress and box springs, and I knew from the size-description that the queen-size would be too small for that bed. I simply used the little mattress pins (the kind that screw in) to pin the kingsized bedskirt to the queen-sized box springs, to evenly distribute it so it looked even and wouldn't shift, which worked beautifully. For the price, I felt this set was even better than pictured, and I'm very happy with it. The only negative I can say about it is that it isn't machine washable, so I do remove it when the grandkids come over for sleepovers. It looks and feels like satin...a creamy white with black accents, and pretty embroidery! It is luxurious looking, and a bonus with beautiful pillows and shams too. This company was terrific to deal with, and I ordered another complete set from them for our bedroom too. I would order from them again (and already recommended them to some friends who admired the sets upon seeing them!)
