I had never seen a brown version of this green set, but I LOOOOOOVE this brown set! It is soooo beautiful!!!!!!! The comforter is very well made. It's not too thick, nor too thin. It is very similar to a quilt we bought for our son's bed. The last one we had was super fluffy like it was stuffed with cotton balls and it was cheesy looking. This has a nice thickness. We live in Michigan and might have to add a thin blanket for winter, but that is typical here. I have prime and this arrived on a Saturday less than 24 hours after shipping...impressive! I was fully expecting the green set, and was shocked to get the chocolate brown set. Still, I am in LOVE!!! This set is SO well made. All the stitching is very well done, the squares are a beautiful micro suede, and everything is made to last. I initially saw the green set on another site and almost bought it there, but this set was over ten bucks cheaper with free shipping so I ordered on my favorite store every (Amazon!!). I wanted to buy the green and set out to do so. When I saw the description said "brown" but had the picture I was looking for, I figured the person who wrote this ad thought this green was brown. I had never seen the brown version and didn't know it existed but I'm so happy I was clueless for once!!! The brown is rich and soft and meant to last! I did read MANY reviews on another site that said this set ran so small that you had to size up. I did size up (the king set was a lot cheaper at the time of purchase anyway so better for me!). I bought the king set for my queen size bed. My bed is not pillow top and is average size. The king is not too long, it is a completely normal length and does not hang over the bed nor go over the top of the bed. And width wise, it hits just over the top of the box spring on our bed. We can't use the bed skirt with the way our sleigh bed is made, so I am glad the king is long enough to meet the box spring. I would like to give the advice...PLEASE!!! Size UP!!! It's imperative !! Google this set and you will find where I originally found it at and see over 50 reviews stressing the same point! Other than that, this is really the perfect comforter set. The comforter is extremely nice quality with super soft microsuede, as are the shams, the chocolate colored skirt is soooo soft, and the 4 decorative pillows are nice and firm smaller pillows that are an excellent accent and great addition. If you happen to somehow find yourself reading this review, just know that you will get a very nice quality comforter set that will add richness to your room and is made to last! Just PLEASE make sure if you have a queen that you order a king!!! I have already recommended it to a few friends because it;s so gorgeous! Don't hesitate! And at the low seventy nine dollar price here, it's by far the best deal around!!!
