I had been looking for a LONG time of something unique to give my bedroom a completely different updated look and this certainly did it! I love it and so does my husband. The colors keep if from being to "girlie" and it's washable! The first thing I did was wash it to see how it would hold up and it washed beautifully (no running of colors, etc.)! No dry cleaning needed which was important since our cat sleeps at the end of the bed and sheds some. The aqua isn't too blue and the black as a velvety feel. The comforter doesn't seem too thick or too hot and will probably use my down comforter under this one in the winter. The ascent pillows are lovely and am trying to track down the curtains for the complete look. BEAUTY MEETS AFFORDABILITY!!!
