(More customer reviews)The picture makes the bed spread look shiny and possibly satin in texture. It is cotton and not shiny like the picture looks. The colors are the same depicted in the picture but the design is different also. It is a very pretty bed set and did match my daughters room. She is very pleased with it. I still like the bed set, but gave it four stars because it didn't look as the picture depicted.
