(More customer reviews)The two product photos here do not depict the King Size Blanket at all (I can't speak for the other sizes). The King size I got was white with a very thin silver line along the edge (literally the thickness of a piece of string - there's no way anyone could mistake that for the actual satin binding shown in the photos), has much smaller quilts than what is shown, and has NO satin binding around the edges (as both the pictures and product description depict). Although the 300 TC does make for a very soft surface, the satin edge is not there.
This blanket is VERY VERY thin, it might work folded over on itself, but opened up, you're probably better off with a couple flannel sheets. I wouldn't consider this a blanket, a bedspread is a more accurate description.
The product did not come in original packaging (bought it through Amazon Marketplace - softandfluffy was the vendor), it was in a clear plastic bag (like the ones that come off a roll) and shipped in a Sheets Set box. There was no manufacturer information (i.e. paperboard insert, etc...), although the product does appear clean and pressed. Partially my fault, I really should not have simply trusted Amazon Marketplace to have the integrity of Amazon - a lesson I hope I'm not dumb enough to have to learn again.
Softandfluffy ships for free, but for returns you pay for shipping, which means they can ship you previously opened products and it's pretty much a losing proposition if you ship it back for a refund. A suffered loss can be helpful in breeding a more appropriate amount of caution. I also placed a vendor rating, but if a vendor moves a lot of product they can play the percentages and slip one in here and there and get away with it. I've had great experiences with most vendors in the Amazon Marketplace, but this product isn't what it's touted to be, and neither is the seller.
