After the wash the colors (black) seeped into the white strips and now the comforter and the two small black pillows look horrible - we washed in cold using the permanent press cycle - should be no problem, right?. Wrong.
The comforter is ok for warmth, its just synthetic polyfiber fill with a very basic mixed fiber cover. Nothing special. It did look very sharp and clean before our laundering incident. We're looking at a new duvet cover to cover up the horrible stains
The biggest flaw in this set's design is that should have made the comforter and pillow with zipper so we could wash them separately - I don't know if it would have saved us this headache but I suspect so. There is another comforter set by the same company which is entirely brown on Amazon that includes the zippers, so I'd take a look at this if I were you.
