(More customer reviews)I bought this quilt set directly from the manufacturer (they do not have any place on their site to rate the product, so I'm doing so here) for my 7 year-old daughter's new room. Here's the good: the quilt set is a nice weight; the colors are bright and coordinate well among the different patterns; the poodles are raised and soft and the eiffel towers are really cute. We do love the design. However, it's like the product was thrown together by a blind person or by someone with little to no sewing abilities. The pillow sham, which was to be a rectangle, is so far from being even it's not even funny. The edges that should be straight lines have curves to them and are at least a 1/4" off on measurements in some spots. Wouldn't be so bad if an entire side was like that, but it's just a spot here and a spot there. Maybe it won't be so noticable with a pillow in it. Also, the applique work looks very amateurish and is not very secure. The inside of the flowers should be a circle, but it's clear from the angles of the thread that the person doing it has no clue how to applique around curves. Ask me how I know this. LOL! Plus, the thread on at least one of the flowers on the sham was starting to come off and all I did was take it out of the package! We are keeping the set, however, since my daughter loves it and we haven't found another paris themed quilt set out there.
They also only sell the quilt, sham, and the poodle pillow from what is pictured. Everything else is just a mock-up for the photo. That was disappointing to learn since the whole ensemble would have been nice to have.
