(More customer reviews)I purchased this item in the Spring of 2010. It was only a couple of months before 1 area of the comforter began to unravel. I sent an email to the company to notify them of the problem it took them over 3 months to respond. Below is the response I got from the company:Dear Cyndie,
Thank you for your interest in Kathy Ireland's Home by Hallmart Collectibles' St. Petersburg Bedding set. I appreciate you contacting Kathy regarding your quality inquiry and I hope to be able to provide some insight into the the issue.
Your complaint about the brocade part of the comforter starting to unravel is not a common complaint I've heard regarding the St. Petersburg, so I'm sorry to hear that you've had any issues.
Because this set was purchased approximately 9 months ago I cannot offer you an exchange or a refund but I have I've spoken to our quality control department to see if there were any suggestions I could pass on to you to help fix and/or keep the unraveling from happening. Taking this set to your local Tailor or Dry Cleaner where alterations and repairs can be made by a professional seems to be the best route to try as they can fully assess the issue and they would know how to properly repair the item. They should also be capable of reinforcing the area to keep any future unraveling from occurring as well.
